In looking for quilt shops in the area near Lake San Marcos where we're staying I found that we were only about 5 miles from Eleanor Burns Shop Quilt in a Day.
The TV studio for her show is housed there. There had been a big fabric reduction sale on the shelves and tables that were added there until they packed it all up to travel to the Paducah Show, therefore the empty shelves are still there 'cluttering up' the studio. There were overhead lights and lots of other things needed to produce the show with several young men nearby monitoring and producing one of the videos that Eleanor will have for sale. You can see them in a room in the background behind the stairs.
I also visited two other quilt shops and a fabric shop. Didn't add but three chunks of fabric for my stash, several patterns and chenille and other fabrics for another baby quilt. Was very well disciplined, I must say, considering all the tempting choices.
