Judy and Karen Playing

Tuesday and Wednesday, April 21 and 22, 2010

Karen took days off from school so that she and I could play all day and we filled the days for sure. We shopped at Trader Joe's, Home Depot for plants for the back yard, a book store in Sebastopol, the Spring Hill Cheese Co, Costco and Home Depot again and probably other things I've forgotten since I've been delayed in documenting the day.

Attended a 3D showing of Alice in Wonderland in Petaluma which I have to say during which somehow I slept some of the time - had seen it before but wasn't bored, just sleepy after my lunch I guess. Lunched at several very good restaurants: East West for wonderful organic pancakes in the darling town of Sebastopol where the occasion was punctuated with a power failure but fortunately their grill was gas so we got our entrees but Karen had to forego her smoothie; Fresh Choice for a very extensive salad bar, and East West in Santa Rosa again with the guys before Karen and I left so that I could audit and view her hip hop class. Both the Zumba and Hip Hop classes were held in the local activity center where many classes are held for the residents. There was an exhibit of art work done by students using recycled materials. The hen is made from the tabs that are left after all the grocery shopping bags are dispensed that originally held the bags all together. Very clever.

Actually ate at home for once: spaghetti and salad and maybe some ice cream for dessert.
