April 22, 2010Drove Karen to Altimira Junior High School along the beautiful route she takes every day where we met some of the people who are working and teaching there as well as the teacher Karen is aide to - some of the students and toured the campus including Patrick's classroom. It has outdoor 'halls' which is not seen in the areas we've lived with schools all contained in one building since there is snow to contend with.
Breakfast was at the Sunflower Caffe in Sonoma on the square where the California flag was first raised on our way to Napa Valley.
Lunch was at the deli at V. Sattui Vineyard Deli. Roses, flowers and grapes blanket the valley. Just beautiful!
Along the way, I found a quilt shop, browsed briefly and came away without a purchase (for once).
