Karen's Fun at Home

April 20. 2010
A Truly Momentous Day! Karen's glider is finally assembled after back and forth communication with the company several times over several months to obtain the missing parts and the very essential instructions. Where to start even then? Little, by little, step by step it all came together taking several hours for both of us to accomplish the task.

Looking for the ONE missing acorn nut and not the kind squirrels collect.

Almost there:

Ahhh, success!! So comfy and relaxing!!

We celebrated our success with a wonderful vegetarian meal at The Garden where the kitchen was sparkling clean and so colorful with all the fruits waiting to made into smoothies along with their homemade bread and rolls.

After a Costco visit for groceries and other essentials like gasoline to get us to all these wonderful
places we've been going, we enjoyed another meal at East West with the guys before leaving for Karen's Zumba class which is a high impact dance class with a VERY peppy teacher who looked almost like she was trying to fly while leading the class. The salsa type music is very invigorating and motivating but the non-stop moving and jumping for a solid hour took a lot of concentrating for all but the most fit - those two or three in a class of over 40 men and women were smiling throughout while the others did the concentrating thing. I was not allowed to take photos (by Karen) so one will not appear here.
