Legoland

April 5,2010
The interactive games, driving school, dinosaur dig, air ball guns and the scale models of various US Cities from New York City to Las Vegas and Washington DC were all hits. Harry and the kids went on two roller coaster rides, standing in line to do so. None were fond of the standing in line part so didn't do too much of that - there was enough to do otherwise. The model of the Capitol Building in Washington was impressive with the marching band in front. It was raining quite hard for a bit which caused us to duck into a building where we found a model building workshop complete with videos explaining how the models were constructed which was very interesting and we might have missed it on a sunny day. The rain was still misting in the air while we viewed the Washington Monument and a few other sights.

This was a fun activity to watch while we ate our lunch. The participants pumped the fire truck which moved it to a building with a pseudo fire. They hopped out and played a hose spouting water into the window of the building until a fireman figure appeared in the window when they hopped back into the truck and raced back to the station.

A lego dinosaur amongst the many wonderful live foliage plants that filled the entire park. Almost looks like a tropical rain forest..........
